I am tired. I should go to bed. I will go to bed, right after this.
I am launching another site at work tomorrow. It's pretty nice. Yet another launch is scheduled for the 1st. I have a quick site facelift job to do over the next week or two also. Then there's the much delayed medical site. I am going to have that ready to launch in a few more weeks. I've been busy.
All this busyness has inspired some new Drupal modules and a few nifty tricks. My Filelinker module allows you to link arbitrary CSS and JavaScript files using drupal_add_css() and drupal_add_js(), so they can be hooked by the aggregator modules. This module led to a new technique for creating and managing styles for themes that I'll talk about some other time. I am going to try submitting Filelinker to Drupal contrib once a couple bugs are worked out.
Another module I've cooked up integrates Superfish menus into Drupal. This one needs some work still. It functions well enough now, but installation is a bit involved because the module isn't integrated with the menu system directly. Once that bit of integration is done, I'll submit it to contrib also.
In other news, I set up a Twitter account here. It's my job to play with these types of things. I also have a LinkedIn account here. I am not so sure what that is all about, but I got an invite and, once again, it is my job to play with these types of things.
