I am drinking Golden Bamboo tea out of a tall Japanese tea cup. The cup is very nice and really does add to the experience. The tea is delicious, however a two minute steep has brought out a little more earthiness than I care for personally. For the next pot I'll reduce the time to a minute and a half. I much prefer tea to coffee. It would be nice if there were a tea room in the area. Perhaps I will evangelize the cause of a proper cup of tea at the office.
My iBook has gone narcoleptic. It switches itself off seemingly at random. The screen also flickers when I charge the battery. There is a little "plugged-in" icon in the menu bar that switches to a charging battery icon and back again while the computer is plugged in. The screen gets about 15-20% dimmer when the plugged-in icon is showing. I suppose all this amounts to my having to pick up a new laptop soon. I may just get the cheapest worthwhile PC I can find.
I am not looking forward to spending more money. I still need to buy
furniture yet!
